Single Parasail Flight

Fun on your own

In our Single flight, you go up in the parachute on your own and enjoy 10-12 minutes of Parasailing.

The whole duration on the water may be up to 1,5 hours depending on how many people that is on the boat with you. We can take up to 14 people on the boat at the same time with everyone taking turns to go up in the parachute (single, tandem & triple flights)

Restrictions

You must weigh more than 80kg’s-100kg’s and less than 160kg’s (wind dependent on the day) to be able to go up in our Single flight.

We have NO physical limitations to come Parasailing with us.  If you can sit up? You can go Parasailing.

Royal Splash

Summer time AND winter time we dip in the water so if this is something you want to enjoy, please let the skipper and crew know and make sure to wear your togs and/or bring a small bag on-board with a change of clothes or a towel. The dipping is controlled by the skipper and perfectly safe.

To get dipped in the water is an option so no problems if you do not want to get dipped and stay dry the whole time.

Just remember incase of an unexpeted water landing you will get wet, so please dont have any valuables in your pockets. There is a water proof case onboard the boats where you may keep any valuables during your parasailing.

Take off and landings

Take off and landings are from the back deck of the Parasail boat. Any jandals or non enclosed shoes may be stored underneath the seat on the boat.

Go pro package

Don’t forget to ask about our Go-Pro package! The Go-Pro camera sits on a “selfie stick” in front of you in the parachute and is automatically set to take photos or a video. You leave the boat with the SD card that we then upload to your phone for super easy social media or printing access.

Observers onboard

We take observers onboard (non flying friends or family members) on a first come first serve basis.

What to wear

Bare in mind that it is always cooler on the water vs being on land so make sure to wear suitable clothing for the day.

You won’t believe how peaceful and quiet it is over the Bay of Islands. Just sit back relax and enjoy the amazing sceneries at 1300ft of line (250-300 meters)

On a clear day you might see the “hole in the rock’ and the outer Islands past Russell. We regularly have dolphins, Orca’s and other marine mammals visiting the Bay so keep your eyes out. You might see different current lines in the water and sailboats pass underneath you.

Or hang upside down in our custom made harnesses to get the Adrenalin option if it is too peaceful and beautiful for you.
