Are you visiting the Bay of Islands of a cruise ship?

The Bay of Islands is a tender location and tenders dock into Waitangi – The birthplace of our nation. At Waitangi there are FREE shuttle buses that will take you into Paihia town, it is just a 5 minute drive or a beautiful 20 minute stroll along the waterfront. View on Google Maps

In Paihia there is one Wharf, that is also where the passenger ferry to Russell leaves from along with all other cruises. Our location is on the left hand side of the Paihia wharf right below the information center. You will see a bright orange umbrella/orange banner/orange table (yes we do love orange).

You need to check in at that orange table 15 minutes prior departure time.

We are family-owned and operated business so if for some reason your ship has to cancel the Bay of Islands port or we have had to cancel due to bad weather we will issue a full refund.
