Easter fun in the Bay of Islands

Bring your whanau to the Bay of Islands this year.

I really want to reinforce the number of amazing activities and beaches we have on offer here, So many people come to the Bay not realizing this. So if you have only booked 1 or 2 nights accommodation for these school holidays or long weekend, you are in big trouble.

Obviously, Parasailing needs to be your number 1 family activity to do book here  such insane fun for ALL family members.

Waitangi Mountain bike park is so much fun. Leave the kids on the pump track (at the park) while you hit the bigger tracks or bring everyone into the forest and choose to stay on the lower family-friendly tracks or hit the more challenging ones up top. They even have picnic tables in there so bring some snacks too.

Sailing onboard the beautiful Barefootsailing charters. This catamaran is beautiful and they have some super comfy beanbags that you don’t even have to leave during the entire day. They stop on Roberton Island where you can choose to go for walks or a snorkel or Paddleboarding.

Romantic  Russell is a stunning little town on the other side of Paihia (just a 20-minute ferry ride). I took the kids on the Russell Mini Tours the other day. What a fabulous experience they had, learned heaps of Russell history AND had a great time with an awesome guide. Check out Russell Information to book other awesome Russell activities or accomodations

Not sure if you saw us on the NZ Travel guides and the Batchelor this last month? But how awesome was that?

These guys at Thunder Trike Tours

Was also featured and offer such a fun activity for both adults and kids in Paihia.

Of course, there is Heaps of walks, beaches, markets, kayaking etc as well. As mentioned you need a minimum of three nights in the Bay of Islands to keep up.

Much Easter Aroha to you all and see you out there NZ.
