Cruise ship season

Hi there you awesome cruise shipper,

Cruise ship season for the Bay of Islands is fast approaching. The Bay of Islands is a tender port with tenders coming into the Waitangi wharf. Don’t you worry, Paihia is just a 20 minute stroll along the beach or Paihia town puts on FREE shuttle buses that take you straight to the maritime building on the Paihia wharf. This bus trip is only about 5 minutes.

Bay of Islands has so much on offer so make sure to get off the ship early to start exploring.

Here are some awesome cruise ship passenger suitable activities that we highly recommend.

Parasailing (of course) A quick activity that can easily fit into a busy itinerary New Zealand’s highest Parasailing

Kayaking/Paddleboarding with the guys down at Bay beach hireĀ

These guys also do bike hire if you would like to hit any of the amazing Bike trails in the Bay of Islands.

Or how about a scenic (airconditioned) mini van tour with the professional guys at Bay of Islands tours the owners Chloe and Matt are too awesome.

Trike toursĀ  Is also an all time fave. If we could all only have a trike like this?

On cruise ship days though our Lil town goes absolutely crazy. So to avoid disappointment bookings for all tours and activities should be booked in advance. We are all family-owned and operated businesses so Flying Kiwi Parasail offers a full refund if for some unforeseen circumstance you will not make your booking. This is for cruise ship passengers only.

Anyhow, I hope you all have an absolutely epic time onboard your ship and don’t eat too much of that delicious food onboard I hear all about.

Much Aroha,

Jules
